Welcome Gail Cope SME for the Program Management Group

 

Please join me in welcoming Gail Cope to the LINCS Community as the SME for the Program Management group!  Gail is a Program Coordinator at the Center for Literacy, Education, and Employment (CLEE) at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville.  She works with the LINCS Region 2 Professional Development Center to provide professional development and technical assistance for 14 partner states.  From 2008 to 2011, she served as a resource collection coordinator for two topic areas in the LINCS Resource Collection, the LINCS Program Improvement (currently the LINCS Program Management) area and Transitions to Post-Secondary (currently the LINCS Postsecondary Completion) area.   Her previous work at CLEE has included numerous professional development initiatives for the Tennessee Division of Adult Education, serving as a Quality Examiner for the Tennessee Center for Performance Excellence, and research and evaluation for the Tennessee Department of Human Services, the Tennessee Family Literacy Consortium, and the Tennessee Family Literacy Initiative.  Prior to working at the CLEE, Gail was employed by the University of Tennessee Human Resources Department from 1978 to 1999.  During her time there, she worked in several areas including administration, career development, compensation, and employment services.  Gail received Bachelors’ degrees in Business Administration in 1977 (Office Administration) and 1981 (Management) and a master’s degree in Technological and Adult Education in 1992 from The University of Tennessee.
