Start summer off on an inspiring note: Watch these Power in Numbers videos with your students

Help your students see themselves as a success story in progress: Inspire adult learners with the Power in Numbers video series. Adult learners are highly motivated and determined, yet face many common challenges as they pursue their academic goals. This video series shows the experience of three adults who went back to school to earn their high school equivalency degrees and continue their academic studies.

How to show your learners the importance of higher-level math skills
Each video highlights a real person's experience learning math — and the academic, professional, and everyday benefits of gaining higher-level math skills. We recommend educators play the videos for their adult education classes, and use the accompanying discussion guide to encourage group conversations on the video themes. These videos are an inspiring response to students who say “I’m just not a math person” or “When am I going to use this?”

View the videos in English and Spanish, and download the guide to start your classroom discussion.
