Judy Mortrude, New Director for LINCS PD Center

LINCS is excited to introduce Judy Mortrude, the new director of the LINCS Professional Development Center and Senior Technical Advisor at World Education, Inc. Judy has more than 30 years' experience developing, delivering, and evaluating workforce education, particularly with low-literacy and high-barrier populations. She has been a classroom teacher, school administrator, and state agency staff.

Judy succeeds Kaye Beall, who will facilitate the transition before officially retiring later this year from World Education, Inc. Under Judy, LINCS will continue supporting state efforts in meeting the state leadership requirements set forth in Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) Section 223.

The LINCS Team sincerely thanks Kaye Beall for her leadership and her contribution to the field of adult education.

Throughout her career Kaye was tireless in her efforts to help motivate, educate, and inspire countless adult educators. Her contributions in helping to professionalize the U.S. adult education system are a legacy she can deservedly be proud of. Thank you, Kaye!

Keep learning,

The LINCS Team
