The webinar will provide instructors, program administrators, and policy makers interested in correctional education with an overview of the Federal initiatives and resources that support justice-involved individuals throughout the education and corrections systems. Specifically, the activity will highlight resources and lessons learned from four correctional education initiatives:

  2. Juvenile Justice Reentry Education Program
  3. The Improved Reentry Education Project
  4. The Second Chance Pell Experimental Sites Initiative

  • Sean Addie is the Director of Correctional Education at the U.S. Department of Education, Office of Career, Technical, and Adult Education.
  • Le’Ann Duran is a consultant with Jobs for the Future (JFF) and also has served as the project director and technical assistance provider for some of the projects that are the focus of this webinar.
