Description:
Join the LINCS Science Group for a discussion on presenting and designing science lessons for adult learners. In this two-day discussion, participants will explore the use of inquiry-based science lessons for facilitating learning and stimulating student interest. They also will examine the application of scientific concepts to a real-life scenario involving a rare disease.
Out of these conversations, participants will be encouraged to try this lesson in their classroom and report back to the CoP with insight into how things went, examination of what worked/what didn’t, and how they integrated the activity into their class time.
