FY 2021 Notice Inviting Applications for High School Equivalency Program (HEP) and College Assistance Migrant Program (CAMP) Competitions Published in Federal Register- Application Period Open Through January 22, 2021

The Office of Migrant Education is pleased to announce that the Notice Inviting Applications (NIAs) for the 2021 High School Equivalency Program (HEP) and College Assistance Migrant Program (CAMP) competitions published in the Federal Register on November 23. The application period will be open through January 22, 2021. Competitive five-year grants for HEP and CAMP projects are made to institutions of higher education or to private nonprofit organizations that cooperate with such institutions. The HEP helps migratory and seasonal farmworkers (or children of such workers) who are 16 years of age or older and not currently enrolled in school to obtain the equivalent of a high school diploma and, subsequently, to gain employment or begin postsecondary education or training. The CAMP assists students who are migratory or seasonal farmworkers (or children of such workers) enrolled in their first year of undergraduate studies at an institution of higher education. The funding supports completion of the first year of studies.
