Description: Join us as we take a journey through the LINCS platform to explore professional development resources, tools, and Community groups to help you become the best educator or administrator in the correctional and reentry education field. Please encourage your staff to attend as well!

Live Session: Mutual Learning and Shifting the Power Imbalance in Adult English Classes

Description: Join us to consider how to approach our work with cultural humility to make interactions with English learners more equitable and less transactional. We’ll engage in questions such as: How can we become better partners with adult English learners? How can we create open doors for learners to share their perspectives and experiences? And, how could these changes impact learning? Administrators and teachers will also learn concrete tips for involving adult English learners in powerful ways in the classroom.
