Live Session:  Creating Careers for Working Age Adults with Disabilities: Reflections on Virginia’s Career Pathways for Individuals with Disabilities

Description:  Join LINCS and Dahlia Shaewitz in conversation with Virginia Adult Learning Resource Center and Division of Rehabilitation Services staff on their Career Pathways for Individuals with Disabilities (CPID) partnership.  We will hear from disability leaders about their work expanding employment opportunities for persons with disabilities in Virginia and other states. Bring your experience, questions, and comments to share.

Hosted Discussion: Operationalizing Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI)

Description: DEI is a critical component of every adult education program. The Pew Research Center recognizes that the generations entering the workforce will be the most diverse in history. While the concept of DEI has been around for a while, we are now learning how to operationalize these concepts to better support our learners and communities. Join this two-day asynchronous discussion led by guest DEI expert, Ms. Sudie Whalen.
