Description: Join LINCS and Dahlia Shaewitz in conversation with Virginia Adult Learning Resource Center and Division of Rehabilitation Services staff on their Career Pathways for Individuals with Disabilities (CPID) partnership. We will hear from disability leaders about their work expanding employment opportunities for persons with disabilities in Virginia and other states. Description: DEI is a critical component of every adult education program. The Pew Research Center recognizes that the generations entering the workforce will be the most diverse in history. While the concept of DEI has been around for a while, we are now learning how to operationalize these concepts to better support our learners and communities.
