We’re pleased to announce that the application is now open for the new Adult Numeracy Instruction (ANI) 2.0 training cohort. ANI 2.0 is a professional development initiative focused on effective, evidence-based, standards-aligned mathematics instruction for adults.
The ANI 2.0 training is delivered over 8 months through 6 instructional modules focused on pedagogy and mathematical content. Each module includes synchronous sessions (with members of the multistate cohort coming together) alternating with asynchronous components (that individual state teams can do together, or participants can do on their own). All sessions are online to optimize state teams’ access and provide opportunities for contextualized learning and practical application. State-nominated teams will include 4 to 8 math classroom teachers and a state professional development leader.
All states are invited and encouraged to apply via the ANI 2.0 Training Application form. Please note that only the state director or their representative may apply. Up to 5 states will be accepted to participate. ANI 2.0 training applications are due on Friday, September 27, 2024.
Interested in having your state participate in the ANI 2.0 training but not state staff? Let us know by filling out the Teacher Interest Form.
