$6.73 Million Settlement Ruling over LSAT Testing Accommodations

$6.73 Million Settlement Fund in U.S. v. LSAC Distributed to Thousands of People Who Requested Testing Accommodations on the LSAT

The Justice Department announced that settlement payments were sent to 2,695 people who requested testing accommodations on the LSAT and applied to a $6.73 million Consent Decree compensation fund. The Consent Decree resolves a nationwide lawsuit brought by the United States and the California Department of Fair Employment and Housing (DFEH) alleging that the Law School Admission Council (LSAC) engaged in widespread and systemic discrimination against individuals with disabilities who requested testing accommodations for the LSAT.  For more information or for a copy of the Consent Decree, visit http://www.ada.gov/ or http://www.lsacconsentdecree.com/
