American Association for Adult and Continuing Education (AAACE) 2013 Conference

The American Association for Adult and Continuing Education (AAACE) will be held in Lexington, KY from November 5 – 8, 2013.  I will be co-presenting a session, LINCS: An Overview of Adult Education Professional Development, Resources, and Communities of Practice, with Meryl Becker-Prezocki, SME for the LINCS College and Career Standards Group.  In that session, we will discuss the LINCS Resource Collection, the LINCS Community of Practice, professional development opportunities, and the work of the LINCS Regional Professional Development Centers.  The session will also include a demonstration and walk-through of the LINCS website and participants will have an opportunity to identify LINCS resources, networking, and professional development opportunities that apply to their practice.

The 2013 AAACE conference will include sessions in areas such as program management, workforce development, community education, career education, international adult education, and adult numeracy and literacy.  The theme for this year’s conference is “Building Sustainable Futures Through Learning and Partnerships”.   To learn more about the conference, visit the website:
