| The Department of Labor recently released a solicitation for the Scaling Apprenticeships Through Sector Based Strategies grants. DOL plans to award $150 Million to rapidly scale apprenticeships in select industry sectors and occupations. The grants require an institution of higher education to lead the application and create a public private partnership with industry. This solicitation is exceptionally complex with substantial requirements for both quality of programs and the ability to serve large numbers of participants.
