On Feb. 26th at 3 PM, the EdTech Center at World Education will be hosting a free webinar, Assessing Core Tech Skills For Adult Learners With Northstar. Presenters will be Tom Cytron-Hysom and Jen Vanek of the Northstar Digital Literacy Project, a program of the the Minnesota Literacy Council.
In addition to a brief overview, the webinar will explore the newest module, Information Literacy, which assesses increasingly important skills having to do with finding, assessing, and using information found online. They will also look at ways in which Northstar is used in different types of settings, and note curricula which correspond to Northstar benchmarks.
