The Migration Policy Institute has posted a video and PowerPoint from their December 2015 webinar on immigrant and refugee adult learners and workers. The webinar explores the relationship of key Census data findings to current state and local efforts to devise plans for implementation of WIOA.
The webinar, Using Data to Improve Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) Services for Immigrants and Refugees, suggests that WIOA’s implementation could play a critical role in supporting the upward mobility of these immigrants and refugees in the workforce and their successful integration into civic life.
