New Report on Asian American and Pacific Islander-Serving Institutions

The Center for Minority Serving Institutions at the University of Pennsylvania has released a new report, How Asian American and Native American Pacific Islander Serving Institutions (AANAPISIs) Are Creating the Conditions for Students to Thrive, by Samuel D. Museus, Indiana University, Bloomington; Raquel Wright-Mair, University of Northern Colorado; and Jacqueline Mac, Indiana University, Bloomington.

The report documents the ways in which five AANAPISI programs are cultivating environments that promote the success of AAPI students in 2- and 4-year colleges. The report also offers a set of recommendations for policymakers and practitioners to maximize the likelihood that they are investing resources and energy in practices that are most likely to have a significant positive impact on the experiences and outcomes of AAPI students.
