The Departments of Education (ED), Labor (DOL) and Health and Human Services (HHS) want to hear from YOU about the development of high-quality career pathways systems. The three agencies have released a Request for Information (RFI) soliciting information and recommendations from a broad array of stakeholders in the public and private sectors, as well as in State, regional, tribal, and local areas. This webinar provides an overview of the Career Pathways RFI and provides instructions on how to respond.

This RFI marks the first time that the Departments are jointly collecting and analyzing information; a process that we believe will yield important insights on: (1) benefits of and challenges to aligning diverse funding streams, programs, and stakeholders around career pathway systems; and (2) the current and potential future use of career pathways systems to help at risk populations gain skills and access the middle class.

In addition, the joint analysis will generate essential information that will inform policy development and the next generation of investments and technical assistance by providing us with greater clarity on the catalysts and obstacles to career pathways systems development.

For more information on the RFI and federal agency collaboration on career pathways, please visit https://learnwork.workforce3one.org/ or access the RFI directly in the April 23, 2014 Federal Register.
