Tools You Can Use: Curriculum Frameworks for Registered Apprenticeships

The US Department of Labor’s Office of Apprenticeship, and the Urban Institute, are building frameworks for registered apprenticeships across many in-demand occupations, including Medical Assistants and Cybersecurity Support Technicians. The frameworks are drafted in cooperation with employers, educators, and other workforce and training experts. The goal is to broaden the scope of registered apprenticeships.

Adult educators can use these frameworks with employers to fast-track the development of their own registered apprenticeships.  The frameworks are competency based, and freely available  to use in planning, or updating career pathways programs, even if they are not aligned to apprenticeships.  Check them out today, and let us know how you will use them to build your programs.
