Two new LINCS self-paced, online courses

Greetings, Colleagues:

We are pleased to announce new and exciting things that are happening in the LINCS Learning Portal. This month, LINCS released two new self-paced, online courses focused on Differentiated Instruction and Lesson Planning and Teaching Energy Literacy to Adult Learners.

Designed to assist teachers in producing rigorous, standards-based lessons while maintaining differentiation, Differentiated Instruction and Lesson Planning contains interactive activities and examples of differentiated instruction in practice.

The second new course is an extension of the LINCS Science online course seriesTeaching Energy Literacy to Adult Learners provides an explanation of the concept of energy literacy, and introduces the Energy Literacy Framework, developed by the U.S. Department of Energy, to help teach adult learners about the role of energy in their lives and generate interest in a career in energy-related fields.

We hope you will find these new courses helpful in planning instruction for your students! If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact us.
