The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) has released the report, Integrating SNAP E&T into Career Pathway Systems to Boost Outcomes. The report details how states and localities have adopted career pathways to better connect education and training services, and strengthen links between recipients and employers.
"As States expand and improve SNAP Employment and Training (SNAP E&T) 50 percent reimbursement (50-50) programs, they should consider how E&T can be incorporated into existing career pathways systems to get better results...". This is such a great resource! Thanks for sharing. After reading that report, I invite readers to check out Snap to Skills. The website has a wealth of information about the Snap E&T programs. I would like to hear how states are building on the 50-50 funding to create innovative training.
