The Rehabilitation Act and Reasonable Accommodations
This training provides a detailed review of the Rehabilitation Act, as amended, agency requirements, reasonable accommodations and the USDA procedures, including the interactive accommodation process with a focus on the TARGET Center's role in the process.
Topics include the definition of disability, time frames, personal assistance services, recommendations for accommodations and the USDA and Department of Defense Computer/Electronics Accommodation Program (CAP) Partnership, which provides a variety of reasonable accommodations at no cost for USDA employees with disabilities.
