Do you have an innovative idea to train K-14 educators using food, agriculture, natural resources or human science? If so, you may qualify for up to $150,000 from NIFA's Professional Development for Secondary School Teachers and Educational Professionals grant program (PD-STEP). The PD-STEP grant program is back for 2017 with a new project option that expands eligibility to nonprofits, Federal agencies, and others. If you want to provide professional development to K-14 teachers you'll want to attend a free webinar to learn more about what's new with PD-STEP, and how it can help you provide excellence in teacher training. The free applicant webinar will be held May 23, 2017 from 1-2 PM (EDT). The support page for this application is: https://nifa.usda.gov/pd-step-support-page. After the webinar, a recording will be available on this support page for those who can't attend. The Request for Applications is available via this link. Proposals are due June 28, 2017 at 5 pm EDT.
