June is Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) Awareness Month

June is Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) Awareness Month. PTSD was first brought to public attention in relation to war veterans, but it can result from a variety of traumatic events. It is estimated that 7 to 8 percent of the American population will develop PTSD at some point in their lives. These resources are listed on Workforce GPS, to help overcome misconceptions about PTSD, and to help promote promising partnering strategies with American Job Centers.
