U.S. Department of Labor Announces Members of the President's Task Force on Apprenticeship Expansion

Following an Executive Order Expanding Apprenticeships in America, U.S. Secretary of Labor Alexander Acosta has announced members of the President's Task Force on Apprenticeship Expansion. The Task Force—representing companies, trade and industry groups, educational institutions, and labor unions—brings to the table substantial workforce development experience in addressing the nation’s skills gap.

Hispanic Heritage Month & Latino Education and Economic Progress

The Center on Education and the Workforce, at Georgetown University, has released a suite of resources on its research into Latino education and economic progress, to include video, Powerpoint, interactive charts, and a comprehensive report.  These interactive tools profile the ten states with the largest Latino populations in the US.  You can access the
