As somebody who really struggled with the details of managing classroom activities, this explanation for structuring "talk about this with another student" so that it actually works amazes me :) 

Do you want the Science CoP to be a place where science teachers discuss issues of practice?

Science teachers -- and those who wouldn't consider themselves science teachers but who do teach adults science,

I was hoping this CoP would be a place to engage in discussion of practice and theory about teaching adults science. Were you hoping that too? If so, that will only be possible if you join in the discussion. Now is the time.

Welcome to our first Guest Discussion on the new LINCS Health Literacy Community! It will be 2-Part discussion about the upcoming Health Literacy Hackathon, and how new technologies and creative ideas can be used to help facilitate better health literacy.  We are excited to have as our guests Stacy Robison, Xanthi Scrimgeour, Sandy Williams Hilfiker, and the rest of the CommunicateHealth team.  CommunicateHealth is a health education and communication firm specializing in improving health literacy through user-centered design.
