Bulletin: Registration opens for LINCS Formative Assessment online courses

The LINCS Professional Development Center is taking registrations for the facilitated online course that was developed as part of the Teaching Excellence in Adult Literacy (TEAL) initiative:

·         Formative Assessment (TEAL), April 24–May 15, 2017

Explore strategies for conducting informal and ongoing assessments of your adult education students’ progress and use that information to adjust your teaching to ensure that all students learn in this online course.

World Education E-Learning is taking registrations for two numeracy courses that will be starting in April. 

Bulletin: Online Courses: Contextualized Instruction, College Readiness, and Navigating Pathways

World Education’s E-Learning PD is currently enrolling for upcoming courses. The following courses are all led by facilitators who are experts in their topics. Courses take approximately three hours per week to complete and successfully making your way through the requirements will result in a Certificate of Completion. Participants do not have to be online at specific times but post to discussions and complete readings and assignments according to a fixed schedule.

Join us for one of our most popular online professional development courses - "Helping Students Stay" - to learn about the different facets of student persistence and to create a plan for your own setting. The course runs March 23-May 4 and is currently accepting registrations. This course is fully online and asynchronous - you don't need to be online at specific times - and is led by an expert facilitator who will give you feedback throughout the course.
