More and more information and resources about the Common Core State Standards is surfacing everyday. I believe that this group is a great avenue for us to use to communicate about these materials. I would like to begin and share one with you.
For many years, Achieve has been the voice for college and career readiness. You can find a wealth of information about the Common Core State Standards and resources that support instruction on the Achieve Web site at http://www.achieve.org/achieving-common-core . These resources include PowerPoint presentations, Facts, Implementation Tools, Briefs, State Materials and Web sites along with a wonderful collection of videos about the Common Core State Standards. Do any other group members have materials that they would like to share with us?

The website Achievethecore.org has some good information (instructional shifts, PD modules) and a section called "Steal these Tools" with lesson plans.

Thank you for sharing http://www.achievethecore.org with the group. I spent some time on the site this morning. I especially liked the Professional Development Modules under the section "Steal these tools." This site is for the novice and those well versed on the Common Core State Standards.
It seems that everyday more and more materials are appearing. We can be introduced to these sites by all of our group members.
