In kindergarten the best readers are the ones who try writing in their own personal phonetic way. This shows the need for a simple phonetic system based on phonics where kids can actually write the sounds they hear.See http://justpaste.it/truequest

Let's also hear more on Krashen, one of the great minds of our time. Of course, he is talking about testing, but testing, unfortunately, drives instruction in K-!2 and a lot of Adult Ed! Leecy
