Hello colleagues, CommonLit has also put together a collection of ten reading passages to celebrate Women's History Month. As Michelle Brown notes on the blog, "As educators, I believe that an important part of our role is to help students imagine their 'possible selves.' Literature is a great way to reinforce this." Moreover, it seems like there has never been a better time to celebrate the amazing contributions of women.
It would be excellent to hear from you if you use any of these materials in your teaching. Enjoy!
