Have you ever virtually attended a conference using Twitter? If so, how did you engage in that professional development? We are live tweeting from the IDEAL Consortium this week and would love to have you engage in the conversations and share best practices for virtual participation in training.
Sincerely,
Kathy
Memorial Day I was surfing the INternet and there was a tweet from a conference in Canada. They had shared the slides so... I didn't even need to have somebody taking pictures and tweeting them :) Twitter Math Camp shared video of lots of sessions via twitter.
Kathy, thanks for the information and link to lots of technology tips.
I have never attended a Twitter conference itself. I have attended f-2-f conferences that used Twitter throughout. Most people at meetings were not looking at the presenters at all but at their computers since there were prizes for so many tweets and other things. Not sure of how beneficial those were since I wasn't using Twitter then. Of course, COABE connects to Twitter, but, again, I haven't gotten around to using the tool during meetings. I believe you've used the app extensively during conferences. What has been your experience?
The following links are just a few on how to actually hold a Twitter conference. New to me and very interesting.

LeecyGod to hear! Now that you have become the expert, you can share your practices with the rest of us! Thanks, Kathy! :) Leecy
