Infographics sources?

Hello colleagues, Recently a teacher asked me if I knew of resources to locate good infographics to use in class. Of course, there are a great many infographics online on a wide range of topics. Do you have favorites you can point us to?

I am also interested in tools to help learners to create their own infographics. What tools can you recommend?

Hi Susan,

I have a few recommendations:

Welcome to Infographics! A Toolkit to Get You Started: Patricia Helmuth (@PatriciaHelmuth) wrote a lovely introduction to using infographics in adult ed classrooms. It also has links to places to find infographics.

The CUNY Adult Literacy Program has a small collection of infographics. This is a good reminder to keep adding materials to it. Let us know if you have a suggestion.

The U.S. Census has a lot of good visualizations.

Best,
Eric

Thanks so much, Eric. Coincidentally, one of my colleagues told me, just this morning, that the U.S. Census website has lots of interesting infographics. I'm eager to check out all of these suggestions.
