Instructional materials on coronavirus

Hello everyone, Many members are learning to teach online classes for the first time. While online teaching may be new, teachers are still motivated to find resources that are relevant to learners' lives. There is no more relevant topic than the coronavirus that is affecting every one of us right now. Many members will be interested in this collection of lessons on the coronavirus on the Voice of American (VOA) website.

Materials include videos as well as articles (with audio) on the following topics:

There have also been authentic materials that we can share.  In The New York Times there was a 14-picture and instruction piece on How to Wash Your Hands During the Pandemic. For beginners, this was a useful way to practice pronunciation one sentence at a time while the photos provided scaffolding and the teacher provided audio. Just one small example.
