September 19 – 25 marks National Adult Education and Family Literacy Week (AEFL)! To celebrate our life-changing work, LINCS community groups are having discussions all week. The Arc estimates 4-10% of U.S. prisoners have an intellectual disability.  Join our community conversation on educational requirements as barriers to release for incarcerated people with cognitive disabilities.   We'll be diving into the research and looking at reform opportunities and best practices to help alleviate this barrier for adult learners in correctional settings.  Join us in either community to be a part of this conversation!
