Has any one used the DISCOVERY career exploration tool? If so, I would love to hear about it. I am looking into it as an alternative assessment but can not find the process or product to review.
No it does not, to my knowledge, have another name. It is a process that is supposed to provide good career information when used with populations that have difficulties with traditional work evaluation and career tools. It has been referenced multiple times in webinars presented by the Department of Labor and all its smaller divisions and contractors that work with disabilities and employment. I have asked the LEAD center (organization supporting disability issues in workforce and policy) for more information. Their webinars are where I started to hear about the tool. I will post any information I get.
