American Academy on Communication in Healthcare Conference--Call for Abstracts

I recently heard of a conference that might be of interest to some of you. A colleague of mine presented at this conference last year in Scotland and said it was awesome. She was struck by how few people from the U.S. attended and she thought we should get the word out here in the US. So I’m sharing the info below. If anyone in our community has attended, would you post about your experience?

Submissions are now invited for scientific abstracts, workshops, symposia, and interest groups. We welcome abstracts/proposals describing work related to communication and relationships in health care, including all health-related disciplines and health professions (nurses, physicians, pharmacists, social workers, therapists, counselors, community health workers, etc.).
