Books, Films and TED talks that inspire teachers

Colleagues,

The Adult Literacy Education (ALE) Wiki professional development area has a section on books and films that inspire teachers.

I have just added a new page of inspiring TED talks. http://wiki.literacytent.org/index.php/TED_Talks that includes some discussed recently on LINCS.

Please share these ALE Wiki page web addresses with your colleagues. Because its a wiki, you and your colleagues can easily add there other books, films or TED talks that have inspired you.

Perhaps you could stimulate a good program-based professional development session (brown bag lunch?) with this question: "What books, films or TED talks have inspired you as a teacher?"

If you try this idea, let us know here what happened, and please let us know what additions you have made to the ALE Wiki section on books, films and TED talks that inspire adult education teachers.

For more information about the ALE Wiki, go to http://wiki.literacytent.org
