I work closely with a Native American tribe in the Four Corners region, which has been implementing two grants for a couple of years to prepare members to enter health or business-related careers. Each project has case managers who are charged with maintaining close contact with students, many of whom are failing. The project director is in need to training for his case managers.
Do you know of any workshops or courses that Native American case managers could complete as they seek to become more effective? They've had no previous training even though they have worked with project students for a long time. Training content needs to be sensitive to tribal issues and member characteristics.
