Hello friends, I just heard that there are studies underway in which computers are scoring the test takers’ responses to writing prompts on the 2014 GED® test. My understanding is that so far the computers are scoring the writing quite similarly to human beings. I was surprised to learn that computers could be programmed to do this kind of complex task, and I’m curious how it actually works.
