Hello All,
June does seem to mark the beginning of -- dun-da-da-dum! Conference Season! I wanted to just call your attention to a couple of upcoming events in which I will be participating:
- I will be attending and presenting as part of a panel at next week's Corrections Technology Association: Technology Summit in Indianapolis, IN. It's a new conference for me, and an opportunity to introduce ideas around the use of technology in correctional classrooms to a group of corrections professionals who may not always have such issues on their radar. I'm excited for the opportunity and will report back on our success. http://www.correctionstech.org/technology-summit/
- There will be a great deal of Correctional Education presence at this years LINCS Partner meeting in Austin, TX the middle of this month. I am also excited to be presenting at this gathering and happy that there will be a number of correctional education professionals attending. It will be a great opportunity to talk about some of the important issues we've been discussing in this CoP. http://www.cvent.com/events/2014-lincs-national-partners-meeting/event-summary-7cb49df3b2b643c6a09b84566c1ba852.aspx
- And lastly, Correctional Ed Association has combined their Directors' Meetings with their Annual Conference event this year and both will be held in Crystal City, MD (D.C.) June 22-25. It is also a Technology in Correctional Education-focused event so I look forward to good things coming from it. I hope to see many of you there, and will most definitely report back on new ideas and initiatives resulting from that valuable gathering. http://www.ceanational.org/69th%20conference.htm
Please share ideas, questions or comments about any or all of the above conferences, and let me know if you're going to be around so we can check in!

Heather,
Will people from these summits be tweeting during the conference? Is there any way to have a virtual presence by following tweets?
