It has come to my recent attention that some of you may be facing challenges creating new discussion threads and responding to comments made by others. Let me walk you through the steps just in case...
1. Sign in to our LINCS Reading and Writing Community of Practice (CoP): https://community.lincs.ed.gov/group/reading-and-writing
2. You'll find all recent activity (comments posted) listed on that page once you log in.
3. In the left column of the page that opens the group, under the Reading and Writing (bolded) topic, click on “Discussions.”
4. In the Center of the page that opens, you’ll see “+ Add a Discussion”
5. Under “Create a Discussion,” Enter a Title. Enter your question/resource/challenge/tip/idea in the “Body" of the message.
6. Scroll to the bottom of the message, and enter a Tag/Key Words if you wish, but it’s not necessary. Click on “Post.” That’s it!
For other image-based tutorials, you can also click on the "HELP" icon on our menu: https://community.lincs.ed.gov/page/help.
That's it! Please don’t hesitate to ask if you run into difficulties. If you need help responding to what others have said, just ask, and I’ll add a few pics to help out. (leecywise@gmail.com)
