Dyslexia: A Landmark Lawsuit over testing accommodations

Hi members,

The following information was posted on The National Center for Learning Disabilities (NCLD).

Marilyn Bartlett, Ph.D., J.D., an educator with Learning Disabilities once sued the state of New York over her right to receive accommodations during her bar exam. This landmark case on reasonable accommodations opened the way for others with LD.  You can watch this remarkable story in a video at

Do our members have any experiences they want to share about requesting accommodations on standardized tests such as the GED Tests.
