As a Laubach trainer long ago, I constantly implemented the excellent motto: "Each One Teach One." Later, I discovered that we learn what we teach! Laubach created that motto in his early days in the Philippines, working with completely illiterate populations at the time in hopes of spreading literacy like fire.
Using the same approach, you are invited to join me this month in an Each-One-Recruit-One campaign to increase the numbers of members in our community who are willing to participate, dialogue, and learn together about how to engage more of our adult students in reading, writing, and, why not, speaking? I can't offer you $ incentives, but I can promise that as our member participation increases, you will be highly rewarded. In fact, for every person you recruit, I'll feature you in our discussions if you drop me a note to let me know.
