Career Pathways Colleagues,
For several years on the LINCS workforce education discussion list predecessor to this CoP I had posted links to free online videos for helping adults learn about specific careers and jobs. Now, in the current issue of the COABE Journal, Volume 2, Number 1, Spring 2013, is a Web Scan column I wrote that brings this information up to date with eight career exploration video web sites. The article also includes tips on how to find career videos and tips on using them. The multi-career video web sites listed include: citytowninfo.com, Vector (Canadian-focused), New Jersey Next Stop...Your Career, Career One Stop Cluster and Career Videos, Career Videos Challenge, YouniversityTVCareer Videos, Careers Out There, and Career Aisle.
I wonder if readers of this CoP have other video-based career information web sites to recommend for adult learners.
