Hello colleagues, In this era of political division, it is important for everyone, including adult learners in our classes, to try to understand an issue from all sides. The website AllSides endeavors to do so. The site takes the position that all news is biased to some degree. Getting an understanding of the particular bias can support learners to explore issues from various angles. Each current event in the news covered on the site is explained from the political right, the left and the center. For example, a couple of today's topics include Joe Biden's treatment of women and the Home Land Security chief leaving her post.
