Greetings! There will be an important webinar on July 16,(12-1pm EDT) in which these topics will be discussed as they connect to health-related issues. In the 2011-2012 PIAAC survey (Program for International Assessment of Adult Competencies), there were many background questions related to the health of participants. It is hoped that..."The data from these may be able to give us some insight into health behaviors as they relate to adult competencies in literacy, numeracy or problem solving in technology-rich environments." Certainly there are issues here related to science, as well. For example, how do people make decisions about their health in light of--or despite-- a scientific basis?
