Free and low-cost digital literacy resources for adult learners

Colleagues,

The Adult Literacy Education (ALE) Wiki has a web page of assessment and instruction resources for adult learners and adult literacy education practitioners who are interested in digital literacy skills.  http://wiki.literacytent.org/index.php/Digital_Literacy.

If you know of good, ideally free or low-cost digital literacy learning resources suitable fior adults that are not listed on this page, please let me know and I may add them; or if you like, since it's a wiki, you can add the resources yourself!

if you publish a print or online newsletter for adult literacy education (adult basic and secondary level, ESOL/ESL, transition to post-secondary ed) practitioners, consider including an article about this and other areas of the Adult Literacy Education Wiki, and in the article encourage practitioners to add to the wiki.

Thanks for raising awareness, David. We are participating in this effort to make sure that print literacy is part of the digital literacy push. See the OVAE blog on the ad council campaign which launched today. We will continue to make sure the adult literacy world is part of the effort.

Thanks to all the programs that updated their ALD listing - you can still do so!
