Hopefully this post will still get out in spite of the shutdown!
In celebration of Health Literacy Month and to help busy ESOL programs become familiar with what the Virginia Adult ESOL Health Literacy Toolkit has to offer them, I have decided to offer free phone consults to the first 4 programs that contact me expressing interest. The info and resources in the Toolkit are relevant to teachers and programs all over the US.
To qualify please email me at esolhealthliteracy@gmail.com with the name and contact info for your program and the name of a contact person. Consults will run up to one hour. They'll be scheduled for weekdays between 10am and 3pm east coast time,10/21/13 to 11/1/13. We can discuss your program's particular needs and interests around health literacy for ESOL learners. I will walk you through Toolkit resources that can be helpful for you and answer any questions you have about using them.
