My colleagues in Minnesota, under the leadership of a great teacher in Minneapolis ABE (Amy Vickers), have produced a 14-page resource that succinctly documents the expectations and changes coming with the GED 2014. Minnesota will also be surveying current GED practitioners and use this to create a state professional development plan to prepare GED teachers for the new test.
This is a great resource - please share! Read the summary of the skills and content needed to prepare learners and teachers for the 2014 GED here: http://abe.mpls.k12.mn.us/uploads/summary_of_2014_ged_test_2.pdf
Comments
In addition to the summary, Minnesota's PD planning process around the 2014 GED test is posted at the Minneapolis Adult Education web site: http://abe.mpls.k12.mn.us/ged_2014_2. Progress and updates will be posted there.

I got a number of error messages until I realized the hyperlink Amy posted includes a final period a "dot" at the end. If you remove the period when you copy to your browser there is no error and you go to their site.
Thought I would share.
