Hello,
I am searching for some partner or ideas provider for a health literacy game. We do a lot of research and we provide information for adults. But I never found a game for parents for their children. Lets bring health literacy to the families. Father and mother can take their time to play with their children - why not use the time to teach important things in a funny way. It should be a aim of the game to explain things, solve problems and so on. During the game they have to use the teach back method or should think in a critical way. This group has more than 1.500 members, I am optimistic that we all together can provide our children this game in less than a year. What do you think? (Sorry for the mistakes)
Best regards,
Alex

Hi Alexander,
This is a great idea! There must be some out there. Here are a few places to look:
Hello Julie,
thank you for your feedback. At the weekend I will take a look to all websites.
Why there is no more demand on things like that? Why we invest so much money and start not with easy things like that?
Alex
I hear you! And I like the way you wanted specifically games that help families talk about health. That's a basic skill that can help with any health topic. As you see most of the games I'm finding are about specific health topics.
Here's one more list: Interactive Health Games from MedlinePlus
Hi Julie, Alexander, and others,
Lenore Balliro here...
I tried one of the health games from MedLine plus: the game involves zapping a moving bacteria icon with either a flame or soap...like a Pac Man concept. (Whoops, that is really old school.)
I was terrible at it, but I bet kids would find it fun. These games could certainly bring home certain basic concepts like the need for handwashing , etc. Parents and kids could have fun together...
thanks for discussing this topic. In the next weeks I try to speak with some children. What do they want? Is it interessting to play health games? We will see.
Thanks,
Alex
