Huffington Post: Women at Work Boost U.S. Construction

In recognition of Women's History Month, I've read several pieces about the contributions that women have made in science, the arts, diplomacy, among many other fields.  However, a recent article in the Huffington Post, titled, Women at Work: Pre-apprenticeships Boost Female Construction, talks about efforts to create more opportunities for women to enter and advance in construction, a field historically dominated by men.

I'm curious if we have any LINCS members whose programs offer pre-apprenticeship construction course, such as the ones in this article?  If so, it would be great to learn more about how you have approached getting these programs started.  Are you interested in these types of programs, but don't know where to begin?  Let me know this as well, and I will find the resources for us all to learn more about creating opportunities for more women to enter trade apprenticeships.
