ICYMI: We Build Brain Cells Well Into Adulthood

Friends,

Newsweek published an article about a fascinating discovery about how we can continue to develop brain cells well into our 70s.  This recent discovery indicates our brains continue to make neurons in the brain as we age, helping us to make memories and manage emotions during stressful times.

I invite you to accompany this article in your adult education class with the LINCS Resource on Alzheimers. This resource can be used to introduce students to work in the health care field.

How would you use this information? Could anyone share a sample lesson idea combinig these two resources?

Sincerely,
Kathy Tracey
